The old map shows that he owned the East half of Lot 26. At some point it must have been purchased by James Muir. When he divided it the new owner was Bob McFarlane and then James Hildreth, who married Maggie Muir, daughter of James Muir Sr.

Cause of death - heart failure after 7 1/2 weeks of pneumonia.
