This is the last Will and Testament
of me Henry Lovegrove Laidman of Number forty four Chepstow Place
Bayswater in the County of Middlesex Gentleman at present residing at Number
nine Oxford Circus in the City of Exeter I give devise and bequeath unto
William Joseph Richards [his brother-in-law, ID 3459] of the City of Exeter Gentleman Henry Heard of Cardiff in Glamorganshire Gentleman and Francis Richard Hole of Woodbury Devon
Gentleman and the survivor of them and the executors administrators and
assigns of the survivor of them all my real and Personal Estate and effects
whatsoever and wheresoever Upon trust to pay the interest dividends and income
thereof to my dear wife Kate Laidman for her maintenance and support
and that of my dear children during and so long as she shall remain my
Widow and from and after marriage Upon trust to pay and apply such
interest dividends and income for the maintenance and support of my said
dear children and to stand possessed of all principal moneys and Upon trust for my
said dear children [illegible word] shares and [?dividends] and to be paid to them in
[?entirety] upon attaining the age of twenty one years or day of marriage and
for all the purposes aforesaid I direct my said trustees with all convenient [illegible word]
after my decease to [illegible word] call in and convert into money all my estate and effects
of any nature or [?kind] soever and I hereby appoint the said William Jospeh
Richards Henry Heard and Francis Richard Hole Executors of this my Will
and hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and
declare this to be my last Will and Testament And I give devise and bequeath
all [?shares] vested in me upon any trust or by way of mortgage unto my said
trustees their heirs and assigns upon the trusts and subject to the [?equities]
[afferring] the same In witness whereof I have hereunder set my hand this
thirty first day of August one thousand eight hundred and sixty four — Henry
L. Laidman______Signed by the said Henry Lovegrove Laidman the testator as
and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us being present at the same time
who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed
our names as witnesses hereto___F.B. White___Edward Saxton } Clerks to
Messrs. Laidman and Tremewen.
Proven at London [?1]7th January 1868 by the oath of Henry Heard one
of the Executors to whom Admon was granted [illegible word] reserves of
[several illegible words] to William Joseph Richards and Francis Richard Hole the other
executors.
