LAIDMAN PLUMBING AND HEATING by Elwood Laidman

The business was founded by Elwood Laidman in 1951 and operates from the family farm located on Kirk Road East, in C7. The firm's first employee, Murray Laidman, has been with the business for over 20 years. John Duffy, another township resident, has been with the firm for over 10 years. In the early years of the business, the main work was installing the first indoor plumbing and modern kitchens for farm homes, and later installing plumbing and heating for many of the new homes built in the area. The firm now installs and services plumbing, heating, water and sewage systems in a wide area surrounding Binbrook.
