Misc. Notes
Mary is recorded as being born in Lanercost (Lanercost parish is just north of the parish of Brampton and some 19km/12 mi north-east of Carlisle). In the 1881 Census, her place of birth was recorded as Alby (Albyfield?), Cumrew (the same as her husband, William), but this is more likely to be the erroneous entry.
